Hubungan Panjang Berat dan Faktor Kondisi Ikan Kembung Laki-Laki (Rastrelliger Kanagurta) di Sekitar Pesisir Timur Perairan Biak
This study aims to analyze the relationship between the length and weight of the condition of the bloated fish (Rastrelliger kanagurta) around the east coast of Biak waters. The sample fish used in this study were obtained from fishermen operating around the east coast waters of Biak Island using a mini purse seine fishing gear. Sampling for fish starts from January to June 2018 and fish analysis is carried out in the Kamasan Biak Fisheries Academy laboratory. The results of the study found that the length and weight relationship showed that the regression coefficient values (b) R. kanagurta male and female, 2.77 and 2.96, including allometric negatives. This is a long growth more dominant than weight. As for the mixture of male and female fish, it has a b value of 3.12, which is weight growth faster than long growth. R.kanagurta's condition factor based on the analysis that has been done on each sex can be said to fluctuate. The overall condition factor ranges from 0.0357-2.2812. Male bloated fish is quite plump.
